About the Computer Science Department
Welcome to the Department of Computer Science & C.L.Jain College, Firozabad.
This college is one of the premier & best institutions in Firozabad & Dr. B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra. The Goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standards to achieve academic excellence. It gives me immense pleasure to lead the department of Computer Science. The department has well qualified and eminent faculty. The main objective of the department is to develop the students both personally and professionally to achieve a successful career in Industry, Research and Academics.
The Computer Science department has excellent infrastructure, well-equipped laboratories, and department library with a good collection of books, magazines and journals to ensure quality education. Innovative methods of teaching and learning process are adopted to achieve learning abilities through practise, exposure and motivation. For the overall development of students. Students participate in various activities to gain knowledge and interact with students and staff of other top colleges in Dr. B.R.Ambedkar University, Agra. Department also conducts student activities to improve their leadership qualities and technical skills.
Faculty are also provided with a platform to upgrade their academic and technical skills by encouraging them to enhance their qualifications and also learn new technologies by participating in FDP’s, workshops, conferences and seminars.
I feel it as a privilege to lead this department and also congratulate the faculty and students for their excellent performance. I will put all my efforts and give my best for the overall development of the department.
The Department of Computer Science is a centre of excellence providing in-depth technical knowledge and opportunities for innovation and research with up-to-date computer facilities.
It has grown by leaps and bounds over the last two decades in terms of infrastructure, courses and faculty. The department started B.Sc Computer Science course in the year 1999.
It is a great privilege for me to be part of the C.L.Jain College, Firozabad. Computer Science is one of the most demanding course and is the practical and scientific approach to computation and its applications and the systematic study. I convey my warm wishes and implement the new coding ideas. I wish all students of our college all the success in your life.
