Jain College, Firozabad, is a foundation always built on moral values, with the objective of creating centres of excellence for education in the field of science and commerce. C.L. Jain College, one of the best institutions in Firozabad, has been scaling new heights since the year 1959.
The college has played a pivotal role in imparting quality education in educating the youth of Firozabad and surrounding rural areas, especially the marginalised section of the society.
The college is emerging as a popular institution due to the excellent academic activities in the field of research and extension activities, including sports, NCC and NSS.
Steadily the college has grown in stature to become a centre of excellence due to the untiring efforts of its illustrious faculty, dedicated supporting staff & the visionaries. इस महाविद्यालय की स्थापना फिरोजाबाद के सेठ स्व० श्री छदामीलाल जी जैन की दानवीरता के फलस्वरूप सन् 1959 में हुई थी। उन्होने तकनीकी शिक्षा के प्रचार-प्रसार के महित उददेश्य से प्रथम चरण में स्नातक स्तरीय बी० एस० सी० (गणित ग्रुप) की कक्षाओं के साथ इस महाविद्यालय को नितान्त अपने संसाधनों से स्थापित किया था। सन् 1966 में यहाॅ रसायन विज्ञान व गणित विषय में स्नातकोत्तर स्तरीय कक्षायें, वर्ष 1992 से बी० एस०-सी० (जीव विज्ञान) की कक्षायें विधिवत चल रहीं हैं व वाणिज्य संकाय की कक्षायें भी संचालित हो रही हैं। देश के पुर्ननिर्माण हेतु वैज्ञानिकों के शिक्षण प्रशिक्षण के लिए अधिकाधिक संस्थानों की आवश्यकता अनुभव की जा रही है।
यह महाविद्यालय इस उद्योग प्रधान नगर तथा इस निकटवर्ती विशाल क्षेत्र के ही नहीं बल्कि देश के कोने कोने से आने वाले विद्यार्थियों को विज्ञान तथा कम्प्यूटर की उच्च शिक्षा के सुअवसर सुलभ करा रहा है। फिरोजाबाद नगर की पश्चिम सीमा पर शान्त एवं स्वास्थ्यकर परिवेश में आगरा की ओर जाने वाले राजपथ पर महाविद्यालय स्थित है।

C.L. Jain (Post Graduate) College is a very noble and glorious institution of Firozabad district. Students of this city get quality education in every subject from this college. Students after getting education from this college have been rendering their services not only in India but also abroad in various capacities. But due to Covid, there is a downfall of education level everywhere. As a principal of this college, I want and will try to take initiatives to facilitate students keeping in view of their future. The U.P. Government has implemented NEP 2020 from the session 2021-22 at the graduation level and from this session 2022-23 at the postgraduate level also. The National Education Policy 2020 is implemented across India under the able leadership of our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to make the youth self-reliant or economically independent. NEP is well prepared by the renowned academicians of India for the all-round development of a child and making him empowered to have self-employment. Students of one faculty will choose the subject of another stream to enhance their knowledge. Students may have more options of subjects for their careers.
I am quite confident that with the help of my colleagues this college will make a big name and attract students from the nearby districts also. We are also trying to ensure that postgraduate studies in commerce (MCom) will start in our college to fulfil the requirements of industries and to provide job opportunities for students. Besides this, there are many vocational/skill development courses running in college with NCC, NSS, and Rangers & Rovers programmes for the overall development of students.
